Early Childhood Program

Pre-K applicants must be three years old  by October 1 of that school year to be considered for admission. 

Pre-K is only available full time, five days a week from 8-3pm. Students in our preschool program experience a loving, play based environment that helps them adjust to school for the first time and prepare them for Kindergarten.

Play-based activities in our preschool: 

• Daily recess and rest time.
• Core subject areas include Bible, math, reading, spelling, grammar, writing, social studies, science, and music.
• Daily activity centers that each child can select include: math, science/exploration, blocks and building, art, dramatic play, writing, puzzles and manipulatives, library, and a sensory table. 
• Weekly specials include library, art, gym and music .

7:45 a.m. -    8:05 a.m. Drop-off  

8:05 a.m. -    8:50 a.m. Open Center/ Table Activities

9:00 a.m. -    9:20 a.m. Morning Snack    

9:30 a.m. -  10:00 a.m. Morning Meeting & Lesson

10:10 a.m. -  10:40 a.m. In Class Activity

10:40 a.m. -  11:00 a.m. Open Center/Table Activities  

11:00 a.m. -  11:30 a.m. Outside Play

11:30 a.m. -  12:00 p.m. Lunch Time

12:15 p.m. -  12:30 p.m. Story Time

12:30 p.m. -    2:20 p.m. Nap Time  

2:30 p.m.  -   2:55 p.m. Open Center/Pack Up  

3:00 p.m.  -   Pickup 

 

Pre-K tuition for 2023-2024 is $7,500. Click here to learn more about tuition and fees. Financial aid is not available for preschool students. 

• We require that one parent/guardian is a Christian and that this parent/guardian be the primary parent that The Christian Academy partners with during the student(s) time at TCA.
• All candidates must be toilet trained before a contract is offered. 
• All families must attend an informal "Meet and Greet" with one of our administrators. The Admissions office will contact you to schedule this once a new application has been submitted and all documents have been collected.
